Done & Dusted: Star Set For Arsenal Medicals, Tells Fans He Has Signed For Us
Arsenal new signing Takuma Asano has told Arsenal fans what to expect from him when he completes his move to the Emirates.
The club recently confirmed we have agreed a
deal with Sanfrecce Hiroshima to sign the striker subject to a
successful medical and international clearance but the 21 year old is
already preparing for life at Arsenal.
Asano will be the club’s second summer
signing after Granit Xhaka when the move is officially confirmed,
although he has admitted he is likely going to be sent out on loan, he
still wants to make an impact at the club.
“I am glad that I can have a challenge overseas, which I have always wanted,” said Asano, as quoted by Standard Sport.“I want to play aggressively. I want to score many goals on the pitch, performing with my quick moves and eagerness.”
Wenger believes Asano has the quality to
lead the line for Arsenal in the future and has moved quickly to sign
the forward. The French man will be hoping Asano doesn’t follow the path
of Ryo Myachi who failed to make the grades at the Emirates.
Arsenal fans may not get to witness Asano’s
quality in a Gunners shirt as soon as possible as the striker would
miss the preseason due to his involvement in the Olympics with Japanese
national team.
