Van Gaal: The goals WILL come

A 0-0 draw at home to West Ham left clear the Red Devils' problems in front of goal, but according to the Dutch boss the scoring drought cannot last forever
Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has pledged that his side will start to find the net more regularly in the weeks ahead.

The Red Devils have been critised for their lack of potency, and did little to silence their doubters at the weekend, when they were held to a scoreless draw at home to West Ham.

Van Gaal: The goals WILL comeBut speaking in a press conference ahead of the Champions League clash against Wolfsburg, Van Gaal insisted that sooner or later they would break the drought.

"I have the experience as a manager that the goals will come," he told reporters.

"When you create chances you can finish those chances and we have that belief - it is a matter of time and I hope we can prove that tomorrow."

The club have endured mixed fortunes so far in the 2015-16 season, but after 15 games lie just three points shy of Premier League leaders Leicester City.
