In Anambra Over a 100 reportedly burn to death in gas plant explosion
The unfortunate incident reportedly took place after an industrial Gas plant in the area, suddenly exploded.
News reports have revealed that
over a 100 persons have reportedly been burnt to death in a bgas plant
explosion which took place today in the industrial town of Nnewi,
Anambra state.

Vanguard reports that, the explosion rocked the Inter Corp Oil limited(LPG Gas Plant), a subsidiary of a Chikason Group.
Eye-witness
accounts reveal that the fiery incident which had reportedly started at
about 11am, was caused by a truck which had been discharging its
contents, had suddenly exploded, leading to further explosions consuming
the gas plant.
A source also alleged that all
customers who had been at the gas plan getting a refill for their gas
cylinders, had reportedly been burnt to death while some of the victims
were passers-by and residents within the neighborhood.
The
charred remains of the victims and others who were severely burnt, were
reportedly taken to the Nnamdi Azikwe University Teaching Hospital,
NAUTH, Nnewi.
It was also reported that the flames
had been so much so that rescue workers were unable to do anything to
save the lives of workers withing the factory where over a hundred
people were said to have been trapped.
