Arsenal 3-1 Sunderland: Giroud scores at both ends as Gunners win

Olivier Giroud went from villian to hero after atoning for an earlier own goal with the winner for Arsenal against Sunderland on Saturday.

Joel Campbell broke the deadlock after a turgid opening as the Gunners took time to break down their relegation-threatened visitors, only for the Frenchman to knock the ball into his own net before the break.

Arsenal kicked on in the second half as Sunderland's resistence broke and Giroud headed home on the hour mark before Aaron Ramsey added an injury-time third as his side took full advantage of Manchester City's loss to Stoke City earlier in the day.
